Welcome to Big Fork MT and Whitefish

Our home for a week in Big Fork. Lots of shade, full hook ups, great patio and level!
Only about 29 units in this private park. all are owned rented out in a pool.
Could not resist. And pushing through evergreens.

Don't know what they are, but cute.
 Entrance to the campground.
Where the Swan river comes into Flathead Lake. The lake is named for the Flathead indians who bound their children's head to a papoose board to create a large forehead. The forehead was for chiefs and leaders. The babies only cried when the strap was removed.
We took and excursion to Whitefish MT. It is a much bigger town and very cool.
Town clock that chimes the hour.
 Loula's for lunch!

Crazy place inside with interesting food.
Cobb salad with fries, mmmmmm, good.
Ron had Chocolate cream pie for dessert.
I had homemade apple pecan pie with french vanilla ice cream and it was warm!
The gang heads back towards the car.
The town is surrounded by mountains. We will be going to Glacier National Park and the Road to the Sun on Friday.  As a chicken when it comes to heights I am not looking forward to it, but I will do quite a lot for a picture. We will see.
Sam and I visited the Elk's lodge in Kalispell coming back from Whitefish.
A lodge with a pool! And RV parking in the back.
Everywhere you turn around in Montana, somebody has a slot machine, including the lodge.
Another shot  of our very nice campsite! Boat trip on Flathead lake tomorrow. More to come.
