Bozeman Day Five, no parade!

Sorry, no parade in downtown Bozeman today. Certainly a disappointment. We went exploring and found a rural mailbox arrangement.
The mountains are all around us, but sometimes we are so close to the lower mountains you can't see the really high ones and the snow.
Prairie dogs! Kind of like squirrels with very short tails. They are very fast and dive into holes in the ground at any danger. I had to stand very still for 30 minutes to get just this shot! Hawks like them quite a bit.
 Welcome to Montana Whiskey!
This tasting room is right on the way to Yellowstone.
Pretty small place, producing all Montana whiskey of several varieties.
 Pretty small tasting room
For a $5.00 tasting you go 2 oz total. The one on the left smelled like popcorn and was kind of harsh. The rye was too rough for us, but the spring wheat was very tasty and added to our bar!
Home at last! We will have to have a tasting party when we get home. I have been reading up on Yellowstone and really looking forward to getting there on Saturday!
