We arrived in Pismo and tried to stay at the local Elks but were told there was no room for us. We ended up staying at the state park across the street which was just fine. We drove onto the sand on the only beach in California that it is allowed in time for sunset.
Lots of traffic on the beach.
Stayed just above the water line.
There were lots of rigs on the beach, mostly trailers and fifth wheels.
But this is a 45 footer in the fine, fine sand.
Sunset at the Pismo pier. We had some great frozen yogurt!
